HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I hope all of you guys are having a great holiday! I know I have so far :). There are so many people things I am thankful for. I won't list them all because the list would be everlasting. I have something for you guys to think about today: there have been studies that have shown that if you write something that you are thankful for every single day, you are an overall happier person. If you did this, you wouldn't just be thinking about thankfulness on Thanksgiving, but every single day. You would find that if you didn't have that one person in your life, you would not be able to survive. You would be more thankful for the small things in your life. You would see the cup half full instead of half empty. This year, I am going to write one thing a day that I'm thankful for. You guys can join me if you want :). Giving Gratitude :)

Hey followers! I hope you guys are having an awesome day! So, this morning, my family gathered for Bible time and we talked about Gratitude. And I realized that there are lots of things that we don't express as much gratitude as we should to the people around us. While we were having Bible time, my mom had the idea that we do "Secret Servants". We are doing it among our family and it's kind of like Secret Santa where you give presents or write notes for Christmas, but in Secret Servant we are giving presents and writing notes to express our gratitude. I think this would be a cool idea to do outside the family too, like making cookies for neighbors or writing notes to our pastors or teachers expressing how grateful we are for them. A bonus of doing this is that it's in the month of November when Thanksgiving is! Now is the perfect opportunity to express gratitude to those around you! So, I just want to encourage you to maybe wiggle out of your comfort zone and maybe take a little time out of your day to thank someone for all they have done for you whether you get them a gift or not :). And also, take time to thank God for those people and the things that he has made :).

After writing all that, I guess I should take time to thank you guys who are reading my blog and hanging in there even when I don't blog anything for a while :). Bucket List CONTEST!!!

Hi y'all! I hope you guys are having an awesome Halloween so far :)! So, I was looking at my 15 bucket list and I found that I have done almost half of the things I wanted to do this year already! I have tried something new at Starbucks (btw, it was a Java chip frappe), I read Blood of Olympus, I read a book in one day, I rearranged my room, I found a good book series to read, and a few other things. Because I'm almost halfway through, I need more things to do this year! So, to get more things to do this year for my bucket list, I am holding a contest! Starting tomorrow (Saturday, November 1st), you guys can scout out ideas for my bucket list and the one I think is the best one will get a shout out on my blog! How the contest works is: When you find an idea for my bucket list, then you comment on this post! It's that simple! If you have multiple ideas, you can comment those too! The contest will last for a week, so it ends on Saturday, November 8th.  I can't wait to see your ideas! Halloween! ...and Christmas? :)

Hey followers and onlookers of Azziness!!! I hope you guys are doing well :). So, this weird realization hit me today: Christmas is coming up soon! Now, how this crazy idea came to my head was that my family and I started making our Christmas lists today and we sent the beginnings of our lists to our extended family. Also, I've heard people already shopping for gifts for Christmas. Is it just me, or does Christmas seem to be coming early this year? Personally, Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I don't mind preparing things for it a little earlier than usual :). Wow, I just realized that tomorrow is Halloween and I'm talking about Christmas!!! That's shows my obsession for Christmas :). Anyway, I hope you guys have a fun Halloween tomorrow and an awesome Christmas when that comes around :D. ~Azzi~
