How to Make Your Own Blog (on Blogger)
How to Make Your Own Blog
Step 1: Make a Google account
If you already have a Google account, skip to the next step. If you don't have a Google account, Click here to be taken to Gmail to create one.
Step 2: Go to Blogger
Because you have your own Google account, you now have your own Blogger account! Isn't that nice? To get to Blogger, Click here. There, it will ask you whether you would like to have your blog with Google Plus or sign up with a Blogger account. Personally, I think it is nice to have the account separate from my Google Plus account, but Google says that it is easier to share your blog posts and gain followers if you have your blog with your Google Plus account. You can decide for yourself :). Click which one you want and it should take you to another page.
Step 3: Make Your Blog
On the next page you're delivered to, it should have an arrow pointing to a "New Blog" button. Click on the "New Blog" button. There, you should see a pop-up that will ask for your Blog title, blog address, and Blog template. Below, I'll explain what those mean:
Blog title: This will be what your blog is called. When people go to your blog, this will be the first thing they see. Preferably, your blog title should be the same as the blog address. It doesn't have to be that way, but it's easier that way. Also, your blog title should be creative and express who you are and what you'll be talking about in your blog.
Blog address: This will be what people will type in to get to your blog, otherwise known as the web address. As I mentioned above, it's easier and simpler of you use your Blog Title in your Blog address. An example of this would be my blog. The Blog Title is Azziness and the blog address is www.azziness.blogspot.com
Those are the steps on making your blog! It's pretty easy! On a side note, the computer I did it on was a PC. I don't know if Macs have a different version, but if they do, these steps may be a little off. Sorry :(. Soon, I'll post tips on how to begin posting on your blogs and tips on how to perfect your blog so it shows who you are and attracts readers! Comment below if you'd like me to clarify some of the steps or if you used these steps to make a blog of your own, I'd love to take a look at it! I hope this post helps! ~Azzi~

Poll: Are you a dog person or a cat person?
15 year old Bucket List
Can you guys believe that its already October? Even crazier, can you believe this year ends in only 3 months? I cannot believe it! Well, its unbelievable for me because, as I've mentioned before in this blog, my birthday is in October. My birthday is a week from now and I am going to be turning 15. This blog post is about a tradition that I started last year for my birthday :). Last year, there were a lot of things that I wanted to accomplish the year I was 14. As I was writing them down a little after my birthday, I thought, why not make a bucket list of things to complete before I turn 15? Now that my birthday is coming up, I'm trying to quickly cross off a few things :). But, I have been thinking of the bucket list I'm going to make to complete before I turn 16. So, below are the things I have so far!
15 year old Bucket List
1. Read a book backwards
2. Have a silly string fight
3. Get 100 followers on Instagram
4. Bake a dessert that I've never baked before
5. Read a book in one day
6. Try something new at Starbucks
7. Make a huge chocolate chip cookie
8. Take lots of pictures and print them, then hang them up on my wall in my room as a collage.
9. Rearrange my room
10. Finish the Lunar Chronicles
11. Do a photo challenge every month
12. Try chocolate bacon (I've heard it's good! Don't judge :])
13. Plan Sweet Sixteen
14. Watch Avengers 2
15. Begin writing a book
16. Have a photo shoot with friends
17. Find a good series you haven't read before
18. Read the Driver's Manual
19. Make a collage on poster board using pictures you've taken or scraps of magazines
20. Complete "Wreck this Journal"
21. Watch all the episodes of a new TV show on Netflix
22. Expand blog :)
23. Get 500 followers on Pinterest
24. Make paracord bracelets and give them to people
25. Reread the Christy Miller series
26. Have a Disney Movie Marathon
27. Record a day in my life
28. Try Hair Chalk
29. Go on a shopping spree with friends
30. Carve something into a tree
That is what I have so far! If you have any more bucket list ideas that I don't have listed, feel free to comment ideas! Also if you see something like "Watch all the episodes of a new TV show on Netflix", and have an idea of a TV show I would like, then feel free to comment suggestions about things I should watch, read, or whatever to help me finish this bucket list on time :). You guys are awesome and I hope you guys have a great week!!! ~Azzi~

Elephant Appreciation day!!!
Anyway, today is Elephant Appreciation day. I have no idea why it is Elephant Appreciation day, but I thought it would be fun to share random facts about elephants :).
Fact 1) Elephants go through the longest pregnancy of 22 months
Fact 2) Elephants don't actually like peanuts.
Fact 3) African elephants cannot run. In order to run they'd have to lift all four feet from the ground.
Fact 4) Elephants can get sunburned. In order to prevent sunburns, they roll in sand.
Fact 5) The largest elephant was a male at 24,000 pounds and he was 13 feet at the shoulder.
Fact 6) The average weight of an elephants heart is 27 to 46 pounds
Fact 7) Elephants purr, like cats, as a way of communication
Fact 8) An elephant's trunk has 40,000 muscles in it
Fact 9) Elephants use their ears to cool down their body temperature because of the many blood vessels in their ears.
Fact 10) Elephants can hear each other's calls made by their trunks from 5 miles away.
I hope you enjoyed these random facts about elephants :)! They are quite awesome animals and I hope you learned a lot about them! Happy Animal Appreciation day! Also, since tomorrow (September 23rd) is the first day of fall, I have changed the look of the blog to an autumn theme! I hope you like it! See ya'll! ~Azzi~

About My Post: Birthday Gift List
Tuesday, September 16, 2014
Birthday Gift List
Fun Fact: The month that most people in America have their birthdays in is September. Another Fun Fact: My birthday is in a month! So it seems pretty fit to make a post about birthday presents to give your friends and family that were born in September, or anytime of the year! Enjoy the list!
My Ultimate List For Birthday Presents
1. Nail Polish: this is really easy and pretty much all girls love it! This is a perfect gift to add with other things if you think your present isn't quite enough.
2. Notebook/Sketchbook: have a crafty person in mind? This is the perfect gift! There are tons of different notebooks and sketchbooks that have awesome designs.
3. Candy: find out the birthday person's candy and then, done! You have an awesome gift! I have found that if you don't know what they're favorite candy is, then a great candy to settle with is chocolate :).
4. Duck Tape: this has been a fad for a while, but if you go to Hobby Lobby, there are lots of cool designs that you can choose from. From bacon to mustaches and polka dots to zebra print!
5. Jewelry: Almost every girl loves jewelry! And if they have their ears pierced, there are more choices to choose from!
6. Headphones: I have seen lots of cute designs for earphones lately and they are a perfect present for that girl who loves gadgets!
7. Gift Cards: I know this one may be a little obvious, but here is a list of gift cards that are pretty popular today: Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart, and Target.
8. Sunglasses: this one may seem really silly, but I got purple zebra sunglasses as a gift once, and I love them! There are so many designs that your friend or family that you have in mind will love!
9. Fuzzy socks/slippers: as it is getting colder and colder (hopefully slowly :]) fuzzy socks or slippers are awesome presents! Neon fuzzy socks and slippers are fun to wear and would be a great thing to consider too.
10. Color scheme gift: what is your family/friend's favorite color? Base the gift off that! One friend who I was shopping for had the favorite color of orange. I got orange nail polish, candy, washcloth (the ones that unfold under water :]), and the box I put it all in was orange. She loved it!
That was the list! But, for fun, below I have a list of a few celebs that have a birthday in September!
September 1st: Zendaya (Shake it up!)
September 3rd: Shaun White (Olympic snowboarder)
September 5th: Skandar Keynes (Edmund in Narnia)
September 8th: Martin Freeman (Bilbo in the Hobbit)
September 17th: Mia Talerico (Charlie from Good Luck Charlie)
September 24th: Kevin Sorbo (What if?, Soul Surfer)
September 26th: Serena Williams (tennis player)
September 28th: Hilary Duff (Lizzy McGuire)
September 29th: Zachary Levi (Flynn Rider in Tangled)
So, I hope you've enjoyed this post after so long that I haven't posted! Make sure you vote in the poll! I really want to know more about my followers! Also, just so you guys know, I may do a blog series soon, I won't tell you all the details yet because I am still in the process of planning it, but if I plan to do it, be excited! You guys are such awesome followers for sticking in there even when I don't post for awhile! ~Azzi~

Story time!
Hello my wonderful followers! I am back and today I'm going to do something that I have never done before, but I mentioned I would do it when I started this blog, so this should be fun! Below, there is going to be a picture and you guys have to write a story behind it. You can post it in the comments, write it down in a journal, or just think about what you would write in your head. If you need help thinking of ideas, I have some questions below for you to think about to get your creative juices flowing. I will post mine tomorrow for you guys to see. Enjoy!
Here are some questions to ask yourself to help you get started: Where does this path lead to? What creatures are around this path? What time is it? Who is with you down this path? Or is a fictional character going down the path? Who is with them?

First Blog Event :)
A 2 WEEK PHOTO CHALLENGE!!!!!!!
How it works on Pinterest: if you have a Pinterest account, make a board (if you would like your photos to be kept secret make a secret board) and call the board #2weeksofphotos. When you have made the board, follow me on Pinterest (my Pinterest name is Asriel Kerr) and comment on a pin on my #2weeksofphotos board. Then, I will follow your #2weeksofphotos board. On Sunday (July 27), I will post photo challenges. An example of one of these challenges is: something blue. You can either find a picture on Pinterest to pin, or take a picture of your own and pin it.
How it works on Instagram: follow me on Instagram and comment on one of my pictures saying that you are participating in this 2 Week Photo Challenge. I will then follow you. Throughout the week, I would love to see your pictures!!! Remember to tag #2weeksofphotos !!!
On every picture, write on the description what challenge you are pinning (Ex. Challenge 1) and #2weeksofphotos. I am so excited to see your pictures! If you have any questions, comment below! In other news, posting daily has been hard to do for me (obviously), but I am going to try posting 1 or 2 times a week and maybe eventually start posting daily. Thanks for hanging in there! ~Azzi~

#ThursdayThoughts
"Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."
Personally, my favorite is the Charlie Chaplin quote, although I love all of them. I think I like the Charlie Chaplin quote so much because I love laughter and listening to people laugh because it just brightens my day and usually it comes after something funny :). Remember to comment what you think! ~Azzi~

Crafty Tuesday: Memory Jar
Step 1: Find a jar (I've found that a big pickle jar works best).
Step 2: Clean the jar (On mine there was a sticker, so I scrubbed that off and I also washed out the inside. You may not have to do this step if it's already clean).
Step 3: Decorate the lid (the lid of my jar was blue with a pickle on it and I didn't want that on my jar, so I painted it with white acrylic paint and it looks beautiful. You can try other ideas though to make it your own).
Step 4: Decorate the rest (I used duct tape to write "2014" on mine. You can do that or do anything else that can decorate a jar).
Step 5: Let it dry if it needs to and then put your favorite memories of the year or the summer in them. Then, open them at the end of the year/summer and enjoy all the lovely memories you've made.
There you go! If you try this out, comment below, or post a picture of it on Instagram with the hashtag #azzinessjar. I hope you enjoyed this craft! ~Azzi~
Reflection of Verse of the Week
I really love this verse. In VBS, I learned a little song to go with it and I have remembered it to this day. I think I love this verse so much because it makes me think of how much God loves us. He showed how much He loved us by dying on the cross for us! It just blows my mind to think about it! But, more to blow people's mind is that He did it so that we could be His children! We are God's children, the princes and princesses of the one, true King! Always remember that! ~Azzi~
Friday :D
I suddenly heard a scream echoing through the hallway...
