#ThursdayThoughts

Usually, I would post a picture and ask for your thoughts about it, but, my computer is not uploading the images. So, I thought that instead of showing pictures, I would share quotes and ask you guys to comment what your favorite quote is that I listed and why. Here are the quotes:
"Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."
-Muhammad Ali
"Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend." -Albert Camus
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." -Dr. Seuss
“Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.” -Mother Teresa
"A day without laughter is a day wasted." -Charlie Chaplin
"There is little success where there is little laughter," -Andrew Carnegie
"Laughter is the sun that drives the winter from the human race," -Victor Hugo
"The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter," -Mark Twain
"Happiness often sneaks through a door that you didn't know you left open," -John Barrymore
"Some cause happiness wherever they go and some cause happiness whenever they go," -Oscar Wilde
"Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart," -Kihil Gibran
"A woman whose smile is open, and whose expression is glad has a kind of beauty no matter what she wears," -Anne Roiphe
"Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy," -Anne Frank
"Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it," -Bruce Lee
Personally, my favorite is the Charlie Chaplin quote, although I love all of them. I think I like the Charlie Chaplin quote so much because I love laughter and listening to people laugh because it just brightens my day and usually it comes after something funny :). Remember to comment what you think! ~Azzi~

Crafty Tuesday: Memory Jar

Are you guys ready for a new craft? Well, I have one for you. This week it is a -drumroll please-........................................ 2014 Memory Jar! A picture of the one I made for this year is below. Here are the simple and easy steps:
Step 1: Find a jar (I've found that a big pickle jar works best).
Step 2: Clean the jar (On mine there was a sticker, so I scrubbed that off and I also washed out the inside. You may not have to do this step if it's already clean).
Step 3: Decorate the lid (the lid of my jar was blue with a pickle on it and I didn't want that on my jar, so I painted it with white acrylic paint and it looks beautiful. You can try other ideas though to make it your own).
Step 4: Decorate the rest (I used duct tape to write "2014" on mine. You can do that or do anything else that can decorate a jar).
Step 5: Let it dry if it needs to and then put your favorite memories of the year or the summer in them. Then, open them at the end of the year/summer and enjoy all the lovely memories you've made.
There you go! If you try this out, comment below, or post a picture of it on Instagram with the hashtag #azzinessjar. I hope you enjoyed this craft! ~Azzi~

Reflection of Verse of the Week

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God..." 1 John 3:1
I really love this verse. In VBS, I learned a little song to go with it and I have remembered it to this day. I think I love this verse so much because it makes me think of how much God loves us. He showed how much He loved us by dying on the cross for us! It just blows my mind to think about it! But, more to blow people's mind is that He did it so that we could be His children! We are God's children, the princes and princesses of the one, true King! Always remember that! ~Azzi~

Friday :D

Hey guys! Are you ready for the first journal prompt of this blog? So, about the journal prompt: sometimes I will post a journal prompt that is personal about you (Example: write about your bestie) or it could be the beginning of a story that you have to finish (Example: All the sudden I saw a...). Your response can be as long or as short as you want. You also don't have to do it at all, but at least think of what you would write :). If you want, you can post your response in the comments and I will definitely read them. Okay, here is the journal prompt of the week:
I suddenly heard a scream echoing through the hallway...
Have fun with this! Have a great weekend! ~Azzi~

New Schedule

I have gotten some feedback concerning my schedule. I have heard that posting multiple posts a day is a bit overwhelming, but I still want to post the things I was planning on posting; so I have decided to post daily. If I miss a day, then I will either try to make up for it, or I will skip that day and go on. So, now that I have my new schedule, it will look like this: Sunday- No posts (unless it is the first week of the month in which I will post a photo challenge for the month). Monday- Bible Verse of the week. Tuesday- New poll and Crafty Tuesday. Wednesday- Fashion Way Wednesday (I will post a Polyvore creation I made). Thursday- Picture (I'll post a picture). Friday- Journal prompt. Saturday- results from the poll and my reflection of the Bible verse. So, there you go. Soon, later today I will post my Polyvore creation for Fashion Way Wednesday and tomorrow we will be completely on schedule! Thanks again for hanging in there!
